“I set out to make a record connected to where I am from. Inspired in part by the wild coastline and local history of North East Scotland, the EP paints a satisfying and colourful emotional arc.

Expansive, soaring synths in the title track ‘Spindrift’ suggest a sense of adventure on the high seas.

Ethereal and dream-like, ‘Nannie Dee’ is named after the witch in Scots poet Robert Burns' famous 18th century Tam O’Shanter tale.

The vibe takes a more menacing and sinister turn in ‘Ninth Circle of Hell’, alluding to the frozen lakes of hell in Dante’s Inferno.

‘Antihero Theme’ brings a smokey and spacious finish to this record, an introspective atmosphere."
